All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed
Hi - my name is Ponyo, and I'm looking for a super-special adopter. You see, I was raised as a bottle baby and single kitten, but then my mom had to go away and I wasn't able to go with her. From that point, I was tossed between multiple homes and then ended up in the shelter (5 different locations within a month), and I was soooo scared by the time I made it to the shelter that I didn't really know how to trust anyone anymore. There were big dogs in one of the homes too, and they really scared me. I'd really love to find a home that is calm where I can be the completely spoiled princess I was raised to be so I can give you all the love I have, but I want you to understand I may sound scary at first. It's not that I don't want love and don't want to trust you, I just need time to understand that I'm safe and that I'm not going to be abandoned again and moved from place to place. I'd really like to have a nice sunbeam to lie in, somewhere I can see outside (but not go outside), and someone who is willing to meet me at my level and love me on my terms. I can get a little over-stimulated at times, so someone who has experience in handling cats with a bit of trauma would be perfect for me. I'm really just a good girl who wants to love and be loved.
