Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Molokai, or as we affectionately call her, Kai! This adorable girl is around 3-4 years old and weighs in at a petite 30-35 pounds. While her paperwork lists her as a Doberman/Shepherd mix, her small stature has us scratching our heads a bit – we're not quite sure where those breeds come into play! Our best breed guess is actually a Manchester Terrier Mix.
Kai was originally adopted as a puppy but was sadly returned to us when her previous owner claimed she was aggressive. It took her a little while to decompress and settle back in, but since then, we haven't seen any signs of aggression. She can be a little reactive in her kennel, but with up to 75 other dogs in that area, it's understandable that it can be a bit overwhelming.
Kai has a wonderful friendship with another dog here named Lil Mike. They're the best of buddies and love to romp and play together outside. They're so respectful of each other, we even let them play unsupervised! Kai has a bit of a dominant personality, and we think she appreciates Lil Mike's more submissive nature.
While Kai enjoys her playtime, she's not overly affectionate here at the rescue. She doesn't often seek out attention unless we're petting Lil Mike, but her personality may blossom in a loving home environment.

More about this rescue
Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League (SNARL) exists to provide a better life for adoptable homeless, abandoned, or abused animals. We aim to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of these animals as well as educate the public against breed or size discrimination. There is no such thing as a “bad breed”, only bad humans. Our mission is to make sure all of the animals we rescue are placed in loving, safe, and viable fur-ever homes.
