Dallas` foster family said he is a german shepherd with a golden retriever personality. If you`re hugging someone, he needs to be a part of that hug! He puts his entire body on you to snuggle. He loves playtime, loves finding and bringing you sticks to play with, very friendly with other dogs. Loves people (maybe a little too much if you`re looking for a guard dog - ha ha ). Appears housetrained, loves his walks but seems to prefer the yard even more once his walk is over. To know Dallas is to love him. Come meet this amazing fellow at our Madison location today!

Our adoption center is located at 575 Woodland Avenue in Madison, New Jersey. We are open for adoption on a walk-in basis daily 1:30-6 pm (Thursdays 3-6 pm). If you arrive after 5:30, there is a possibility we may not be able to complete an adoption that day. Please note that we cannot put animals on hold.

St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of animals. It operates animal shelters in Madison, North Branch and Ledgewood, New Jersey and one of the largest professional dog training and behavior centers in the country at its Madison campus. Humane Education and community outreach assistance are among its programs offered to the community. St. Hubert’s also provides animal control services by contract in several municipalities in proximity to the shelters.
