My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack is a 2 year old male German Shepherd. He is a little aloof and timid at first but warms up with patience and proper introductions. He warms up more quickly to women than men, but his previous owner was a man and with patience he would be a loyal companion for anyone. Has met other dogs and done well but has never lived with another dog, has great potential to share a home with another dog friend with proper introductions. He is housebroken and well mannered. Has been around children of all ages including toddlers and done well. No cats, please.

Located in Orlando, FL. Adoptions are by appointment. Please fill out an application so we can get to know you better and see if you may be a great match. Adoption fee is $150. Jack is neutered and current on vaccines.

More about this rescue

Happy Trails Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit rescue based in Central Florida. Established in 2013, we have successfully placed over 200 dogs. As we continue to grow, we have opened our Community Resource Center in 2019 and provide training, education, grooming events, and a food pantry for those in need in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Thanks to our training scholarships, we have helped over 100 rescue dogs have continued success in their furever home.
