What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I rescued Bugsy (named after Bugs Bunny because he is quick, and looks like a rabbit) from a local shelter with his bonded brother at the age of 5 in 2021. Since then they have been indoor cats but allowed occasionally in the screened in porches.
They coexist but there is a lot of habitual territorial behavior mostly caused by Bugsy trying
to assert dominance over my other cat.
This has caused continuous spraying issues to assert dominance. I have tried every solution and trick to stop this behavior to no avail.
Bugsy needs to be in a cat free/ only pet home with an adult in a calm safe environment so he can feel happy and relaxed.
He is extremely smart and sweet - never violent. He loves to have his belly rubbed and will vocalize and rub up against his owner and even fetch if one throws a rubber band for him to catch. He will catch it, bring it to you so you can throw it out for him to fetch!
He is smart, fast, loves to sit up high and sleep next to you and cuddle.
