My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Kermit hasn’t always had an easy life. He was found as a stray at only 6 pounds with horrific wounds to his body. He is now 10 pounds and ready to find his forever home. He is fully vetted and would enjoy the company of another friendly quiet, cat or dog. Well shy at first with strangers he quickly warms up once you offer a chin scratch. He’s a super affectionate guy and would love a home for the holidays.

More about this rescue

CARF: The Critical Animal Relief Foundation has been established to provide urgent medical, surgical and fostering resources for non-terminal and terminal animals in need of safety, healing and the relief of pain and suffering when time is of the essence and resources are scarce. CARF works independently and in conjunction with other responsible rescue organizations. CARF advocates for proactive legislation to prevent and punish animal abuse, supports animal awareness campaigns targeting at-risk children and adults, sponsors animal assistance programs for marginalized individuals, and funds educational programs to enlighten future generations for the betterment of animal welfare and responsible animal stewardship. We serve Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area.
