Spike is a hansdome gentleman with flowing, shiny, black fur. He knows several commands and LOVES to play ball.

He's still young and has puppyish energy, so a home without small kids would be best. He lives in the moment and loves life!

He's house trained, vaccinated, neutered (on 1.23.25), microchipped, and looking for a family to love!

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 foster-based rescue, which means we do not have a central building. Our rescue registration number with the State of NY is RR131. For logistical reasons, all of our foster homes are in Lewis and Jefferson Counties. If there is an animal you are interested in meeting, we ask you to first fill out the adoption application, which can be found in the main menu. You do not need to live in Lewis or Jefferson county to adopt; we do adopt out of state (and to Canada as well!)
