Meet Snookie, a distinguished 7 year old girl with a heart full of love. Snookie is now a Lonely Heart which means she's been with us far too long. To encourage her new family to take the leap and bring her home we have lowered her adoption fee to $200. She may be a bit shy at first, but don't let that fool you. Once she's had a little time to warm up to you, her goofy and sweet nature shines through. Snookie loves to cuddle, making her the perfect companion for those quiet nights in. Despite her age, Snookie still has a zest for life. She is looking for a home where she can be the only pet, basking in all the attention and love she deserves. This gentle soul has so much love to give and is waiting for the right person to share it with.

We ask that the applicant first complete an online application. Each application must meet the approval of Pope Memorial SPCA of Concord Merrimack County policies prior to adoption.

We ask that anyone in need of surrendering an animal call for an appointment. Our name reflects our geographic service area, not a governmental body. We are a nonprofit agency dependent on private donations and are not supported by tax dollars. As a "special admission" shelter we accept all animals in need, but we do utilize an appointment policy to ensure there is space for all incoming animals. Thanks to a dedicated and caring staff and volunteers, and the monetary contributions of so many compassionate individuals and businesses in our community, we offer our animals the best of care as they await their new forever home.
