Donner is a handsome male gray cat who is looking for a loving forever home. Donner is quite shy and would do best in a home with another kitten, preferably a sibling, to provide him with companionship and support as he continues to build his confidence.
While Donner may be initially reserved, he is an active and playful cat who loves to engage in fun and entertaining activities. He is friendly and sweet-natured, showing his affection in his own unique way.
It's important to note that Donner does not like to be picked up, but he enjoys interactive play and will blossom in a home where he can feel safe and secure. To help Donner feel secure and content, a calm and consistent schedule in his new home would be beneficial for his adjustment. With time, understanding, and guidance, Donner will learn to trust and bond with his new family, rewarding them with his love and loyalty.
If you are a patient and caring individual or family who can provide Donner with the understanding and environment he needs to thrive, he will undoubtedly reward you with his love and companionship.
Adopting Donner will not only bring joy into your home but will also provide this sweet boy with a chance at a happy and fulfilling life.
Donner is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
