Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
15-year-old Muneca Moon Pie ended up at Santa Barbara County Animal Services after her owner entered hospice care. She arrived at Frosted Faces Foundation on December 18th and is a wonderful sassy grannie!
Shortly after Muneca arrived, she joined volunteers and two other Frosted Faces on an outing to a coffee shop and then the park.
"Muneca (she knows her name!) is a strong independent little lady. She knows where she wants to go, and she has places to be. No one told Muneca that she’s 15 with heart disease!
Muneca loves to walk and explore! She would prefer not to wear a pesky leash. but unfortunately that’s part of the outing. She isn’t aggressive and is only bitey when you pick her up without getting to know her (it doesn’t hurt, she doesn’t have teeth). I don’t blame her though, stranger danger!
Muneca was great with both dogs. She enjoyed riding in a car and sat on my lap. Whoever gets to adopt this beautiful lady, will be so lucky. I love her spunky personality!"
Muneca just left on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn what she is like in a home setting. Check back soon for an update!
