Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Estralita! A low maintenance, very gentle, unassuming young cat. She is a 1 year old tabby.
Lita was rescued from a trailer park where she living under a trailer with her 5 two week old kittens. No one was feeding her or providing water, but she was nursing 5 sick babies, despite being herself emaciated. In fact at first glance it was thought that she was one of the kittens waiting for rescue.
Estralita likes to be petted, and is quick to purr, but she is understandably cautious in new situations. She was very protective of her kittens and does not like other cats. Have not seen her around dogs, although any experiences she has had in the past are not likely to have been positive. However the sound of dogs barking does not upset her.
She is diligent about the litter box and uses a scratching box enthusiastically.
She is a really nice companion cat who can cope with being left alone during the day if necessary.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
