🦎 Meet Ursula, the Purple Albino Tegu! 🦎


Hello, my name is Ursula! I’m a 3-year-old “purple albino” tegu who came to J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue on 5/2/24 in need of medical care for a wound caused by a burst abscess. While my wound is still healing and requires ongoing treatment with antibiotics, I’m getting stronger every day and looking for a very special home! 🏡


My favorite treat is chicken liver, and I have the sweetest disposition, making me an ideal candidate for adoption by a 501(c)(3) educational facility that can showcase my unique beauty and charm.


There is no adoption fee for me, but potential adopters must have an exotics vet experienced with tegus to continue my care.


We also offer Hub-to-Hub shipping via FedEx, so I can join your organization or family no matter where you’re located!
