Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Now accepting applications for Karen! Karen is an adult spayed female about 9 months old. My what big eyes you have! If you are interested in meeting Karen, please go to our website at www.mjhs.ca and click the Adopt tab, then Adoptable Animals and scroll to her beautiful face to submit your application. Once your application has been approved we will contact you to come spend some time with Karen to be sure she is the right fit for you. If after meeting her you decide she is not the cat for you, there is no obligation to complete the adoption process. We look forward to hearing from you! Karen was literally scared stiff when she first arrived. When we would pick her up, she was stiff as a board. She wouldn't scratch, or growl, just sat stiff as could be until we got her settled into her clean kennel. Fast forward two weeks and while she is still a little shy, she comes forward for pets and just melts into our hands. We we pull our hands back she gently reaches her paw out to grab us and keep us petting her. It is so rewarding when you earn the trust of a scared animal. Karen's adoption fee is $75, she is spayed, started on her vaccination schedule and microchipped. Can't adopt Karen yourself but still want to help? You can make a donation toward her care by clicking the following link. Thank you for your support! https://checkout.shelterluv.com/donate/mjaw
