Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi there, I’m Nellie, a sweet and sensitive young lab who’s looking for a forever home after spending most of my life in shelters. I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a wallflower at first—new things can feel a little overwhelming for me. But with a gentle approach and a little patience, you’ll see me bloom into the loving and loyal companion I’m meant to be.
I’ve been staying in a staff member’s office, and they’ve gotten to know me really well. They say I warm up beautifully once I feel safe, and I promise it’s worth the wait. I just need someone who understands that trust takes time. When I do settle in, you’ll see my playful and curious side shine. I adore other dogs and gain a lot of confidence from them, especially if they’re up for a little fun. So, if you’ve got a friendly pup at home, that’s a big bonus for me!
One thing to keep in mind is that I’m a bit of a flight risk while I’m adjusting to a new environment. It’s just my way of dealing with uncertainty. With love, patience, and a secure setup, I know I’ll learn to relax and feel at home. Positive reinforcement and consistency will go a long way in helping me grow into the brave and happy girl I’m meant to be.
I’m ready to leave my shelter days behind and start a new chapter with someone who sees the potential in me. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to share your life with, I could be the one for you. Let’s meet and see if we’re a match!
