Meet Sweet Aroura! This special little girl is ready to find her forever home. Aroura has had a tough start, but her resilience and loving nature shine through. She is a 2-year-old Lhasa Apso and Shih Tzu mix who is sure to steal your heart.

Aroura’s Story:

Aroura was found abandoned in a collapsible pen outside the Newman shelter. She managed to escape and was discovered by a volunteer, struggling to use her back legs. After reaching out to us, we brought her into our care. A visit to the vet revealed that she was pregnant with three large puppies. It’s believed the pressure from her babies caused spinal issues that temporarily affected her ability to walk. After a C-section to safely deliver her puppies, Aroura began her journey of recovery.

Today:

Aroura has made incredible progress and can walk again, although her gait is a little unique. Sometimes she moves so quickly that her back legs struggle to keep up! Despite her challenges, she has so much love to give and joy to share.
