Meet Sammy! He is a eight-month-old Maltese mix who weighs about ten pounds. He is an enthusiastic and spunky little puppy found wandering as a stray. He was matted and his beautiful white coat was covered in dirt. Poor little guy was scared to even enter the threshold of a home. But Sammy soon found love in his foster home and despite his neglect he is the most playful and loving pup who gives thousands of kisses to humans and doggy friends alike. Sammy plays endlessly with his foster siblings ranging from 4 pounds to 60 pounds. Sammy’s love knows no limits - he thoroughly enjoys walks and public outings and does fantastic in the car. Sammy also does great with kids and is easy to handle. Sammy can be a little scared of new people but warms up quickly. If you want to add this love bug to your life, get your application in today!

Additional adoption info

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
