Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I might be hiding now, but don’t let that fool you, I have defended myself for years as a stray! Because of my mysterious past, I spend much of my time thinking in the shadows about what might come next. I may be able to put on a hard exterior, but deep down I know I am just as sensitive as anyone. I may never be a lap cat, but I most certainly would love to be in a warm, safe home, where maybe, in time, we can become best friends. I'm not a fan of being touched, and get overwhelmed very easily. Please be patient with me as I adjust to change. I enjoy treats and may possibly, in time, allow some gentle petting. My adoption fee is $25

Each adoption consists of an interview, application, counseling session, and adoption contract. All adoptions are handled on a case-by-case basis, but most adoptions are first-come, first-served, and holds cannot be placed in advance for someone to meet with an animal. All animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Please see http://www.nevadahumanesociety.org/ for more information including all currently available animals, adoption prices, resources, and events.
