My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Payton, a beautiful calico girl about 2 - 3 years old. Payton was found on a blustery, frigid night, living behind a shopping center, living in a box with leaves and a blanket. Once in foster care, she slept in her warm, fluffy bed for 3 days straight, not wanting to do anything but rest, perhaps because she knew she was able to finally sleep in safety.

Payton is loving and friendly. She currently cries out and meows, almost in a panic, when she wants attention or feels alone and would truly be a great companion cat. She is not a fan of kibble, but instead loves a nice plate of canned food and can literally spend hours looking out the window, almost as though she is counting her blessings for being inside and not outside in the elements. She does not appear to like other cats, so she must be an only cat. Payton will be available for adoption on Christmas eve.

Payton is dewormed, spayed, receive FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, combo tested, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to pay to re-register every year because we have done it for you! Iterested? Please let us know at GoodMews22@aol.com or fill out a digital application. https://submit.jotform.com/221029453063044

More about this rescue

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.
