💗 Meet Sammie Jo: The Sweet and Smart Companion
Sammie Jo is a loving and affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with her people. She thrives on attention and loves spending time with her favorite humans. However, Sammie Jo is a bit apprehensive around some people and other dogs, which can occasionally result in an unexpected defensive reaction. Sammie Jo is well-behaved at home and has excellent potty habits. She does great in a crate, both at night and during the day when her family is away. Feeding her in the crate has helped her feel comfortable and secure there. She is fantastic on a leash or harness, but a harness is the better choice for walks in new surroundings, as she may attempt to wiggle out of a collar when she feels frightened. Passing cars can sometimes scare her during walks, though she has made progress with consistent training and exposure. This smart girl quickly learned to sit and lay down with the help of treats, proving how eager and capable she is to learn new things. Sammie Jo would thrive in a home with someone who can dedicate the time and patience to help her overcome her fears and build her confidence. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate companion who just needs a bit of guidance to truly shine, Sammie Jo could be the perfect addition to your family.
