Mitzy can be shy and skittish, but loves to be patted once she has been shown just a little bit of patience and warmth. She thrives in a calm environment. In the security of a loving home, she is likely to blossom into an affectionate and snuggly close companion. She goes wild for catnip toys and will inspire and surprise you with her bursts of playfulness and whimsy. She enjoys being sang to by our volunteers and responds to vocal interactions. Patience is the key to open up her playful side. She would likely do well in a home with other cats, and possibly respectful children. We do not think she would do well with dogs.
