My name is Steamboat!

Steamboat is a 7 year old, lovable sweetheart with youthful spirit looking for his forever home. He is fantastic with kids and gets along with other dogs. He can be a bit territorial around food/bones but thrives in off-leash dog parks. He is fully vaccinated and has a clean bill of health. Steamboat is house trained, making him a well-behaved companion. Despite his 60-pound frame, he thinks he's a lap dog and loves to cuddle up. His affectionate nature and big heart make him a perfect addition to any family looking for a loyal and loving friend! Plus, he is not a picky eater, which makes mealtime a breeze ;)

He's had around three owners now- never his fault just unfortunate circumstances (relocation/lack of funds/bad humans).
Steamboat is now looking for a stable and permanent home. We would love to keep him, but due to his territorial nature around food and our already full house of dogs, we know it wouldn't be the best fit despite how much we are going to miss him.
