My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Majo is a sweet and curious 7-year-old cat who was surrendered by her previous family when they moved. Initially a little frightened and unsure, Majo quickly adjusted and has blossomed into a friendly and independent kitty with a fun personality.

She’s currently living with another cat and two dogs—one large, one small—and shows no fear of the dogs, completely ignoring them in favor of doing her own thing. Majo enjoys spending time with her humans, and when her food bowl is empty, she’ll guide you right to it with her soft meow or seek you out to remind you. Despite being a little overweight when she first arrived, Majo is now managing her weight with the help of an automatic feeder and seems quite content with the setup. She’s not especially interested in treats but loves her cat bed and catnip toys, often basking in the sunlight that streams through the windows.

Majo is potty trained and has a calm, laid-back demeanor. She’s not particularly cuddly, but she loves being near her people and will rub up against you throughout the day. Her purring is infectious, and while she enjoys being held, she also has an independent streak that makes her the perfect balance of bossy cat and sweet companion.

Majo has no desire to return to life outside, despite her past as an outdoor cat, and she enjoys hanging out with her foster mom, even helping with the dogs. She’s ready to find her forever home where she can continue to be the quirky, lovable cat she’s become.

Majo would do well in a home that understands her independent spirit but also enjoys having a loving companion nearby. Could you be her perfect match?
