Right here waiting! My name is Buster, and I'm a handsome chocolate dog who is in the market for a new best friend. I like going on long walks but can also be quite the couch potato. I am a curious guy who loves exploring the world through my nose! I would be the perfect companion for all of your outdoor adventures. I am loyal and loving, sit nicely for my treats and takes them softly from your hand. I really enjoy head scratches, but my absolute favorite thing is belly rubs. If you do that for me, you will have a friend for life! It has been reported that I have good house manners and am crate trained. I know how to keep myself quiet when you are away. If you are looking for a companion who will always be there for you, you really can't go wrong with me. I can't wait to start the next chapter of my life with my new best friend!

Operating the Vola Lawson Animal Shelter, an open-admission facility and Alexandria’s only animal shelter, the League provides care for more than 3,500 animals every year, including strays, lost pets, local wildlife, rescue animals, and pets surrendered by their owners.
