Hi there, I’m Montee—a playful, curious 16-week-old Brussels Griffon mix, weighing in at a mighty 10-12 pounds! I’m the quintessential puppy, always exploring the world around me and finding joy in every little thing.

I adore playing with my foster dog siblings (well, except for Glenn, the Cocker Spaniel—he thinks I’m a squeaky toy). Despite that, I’ve learned to "sit," which makes my foster mom super proud. Potty training and the doggy door are still a work in progress, but with a little patience, I’ll be a pro in no time!

I’m not much of a barker or whiner, so I’d make a sweet and easygoing addition to your family. I’d do best in a home with another doggie buddy close to my size or slightly larger to romp and play with.

At Valley Dogs we make every effort to place the right animal in the right home. To aid in this goal, we use trained Adoption Consultants to help you select the best match for your lifestyle. You will meet with an Adoption Consultant and discuss your lifestyle, activity level, expectations, likes/dislikes, and past experiences with animals. Your consultant will then recommend the best match for your family and your lifestyle.

We do not own a kennel / shelter type facility. In most cases, we believe one of the effective and successful ways to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Fostering dogs allows us to help train the dogs to have good doggie manners and allows us to learn about the dog's personality and character. Ultimately allowing us to give potential adopters complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with a family and lifestyle. Unfortunately, when we are not able to find the most appropriate foster home, we will on occasion utilize a private kennel on a case by case basis.
