My name is Saphire!

Saphire (suh-fear) is the most loving and patient dog. Seriously, her human kids have played with her and pretended she was a horse many times and she loved every second of the attention she got. She has no problems having a lazy day but absolutely loves playing fetch and chasing squirrels. She has currently caught two squirrels so far. Yes, she is very proud of herself for that. She is obedient and understands several commands.

Unfortunately, she does get seizures every once in a while. Taking her to an ER is not needed for the seizure. She comes out of them fairly easily. She has been seen by a neurologist for them and has since concluded that there is nothing that can be done for them besides putting her on seizure medications. The medication is a twice a day pill and very affordable. ($25/mo)

We love her so much and it pains us to have to rehome her, however, we cannot take her overseas with us. She will thrive better with a family or home with a large yard for running.
