I'm active and playful, and I like it when kids are around so I can have some real fun...but I also love to just cuddle up with my foster human and just hang out. I am in training to be a responsible and obedient canine citizen, and I will have all my shots and my microchip by the time I am adopted. My momma's health was failing and she was unable to take care of me and my siblings, so my aunties took me into their rescue. Our rescues are housed in foster homes and may be seen by appointment by adopters who have completed our application process.
We hope to partner with our local pet stores for public viewing and we participate regularly in Adoption events like the Home for the Holidays events held annually in June and December at the Irvine Animal Care Center and the Pet Expo which occurs annually in April.

Bichon Rescue of Orange County (BROC) was organized to address the ever increasing number of senior bichons and other small breeds that are being surrendered by their owners and dropped off at local shelters in Orange County. Through the Seniors for Seniors Program we are committed to cultivating our senior citizens both as volunteer fosters and as adopters. The Seniors for Seniors Program will encourage qualified Senior adopters to adopt senior pups.
We have over fifteen years of combined history in rescue and a team of dedicated volunteers, committed to our Mission.
