Milo was brought in by his previous owner on December 21, 2024.

Meet Milo, a spirited and active dog who's always ready for an adventure! Milo is incredibly smart - so smart, in fact, that he's figured out how to open lever-style doors! He loves to play, and thrives on mental and physical challenges that keep his busy mind engaged. Milo can get a little carried away with his excitement and needs a family who can help him channel his energy positively. He tends to be protective over items he deems valuable, like food, so he'll do best in a home with adults or children over 10 who can respect his boundaries. Milo has had mixed experiences with other dogs, so any canine siblings should meet him first to ensure a good fit. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
