Dog friendly -yes
Likes kids- yes but recommend bigger kids because he likes to jump
Treats/toys- loves treats and knows how to sits. Absolutely loves toys. Balls and tug-a-war are his favorite.
Walk on leash - yes occasionally gets excited and wants to play tug-a-war with leash. Redirects with treats.
Car rides- likes car rides. He prefers front seat not the back. Likes to bite at the wind.
House/crate trained- yes to both.

He absolutely loves people and don’t know a stranger. He wants to be a lapdog. He gets a bit overwhelmed in a home with all the new smells and new everything that it is hard for him to chill and relax. Recommend making sure he has his own comfort space.
Afraid to be outside alone.
Barks rarely.

Interested adopter must fill out an application. Once approved a meet and greet is set up at a specific location, the ranch or a local adoption event. If the animal and adopter are compatible, a home visit takes place.
A contract is also signed between the rescue and the adopter
Fees are generally between $250.00-$500.00

The Four Legged Ranch began in 2015. We are a experienced group of rescuers that have come together as a team to change lives of dogs at risk at high kill shelters. We focus on pit bulls and bully breeds, but we are open to help all breeds. Together we are changing their world and adding a new family member to yours.
