My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kiromi and Tauri
Available for adoption
In foster care since: May 1, 2023
Good with: dogs, children, cats
Fostered in Dutton, Ontario
Adoption fee: $200 for the pair
Kiromi and Tauri are two sweet, shy sisters who are looking for their forever home. They are very bonded, and wherever one goes, the other follows, often curling up together. Both love food, especially wet food and treats, which can be helpful in encouraging them to come out of their shells.
These girls are still quite timid and would do best in a quiet home, ideally with no other animals. They prefer a smaller space, such as an apartment or small house, where they can feel more secure. Though they have been around other cats, they don't particularly enjoy their company, and they haven't met the dogs in their foster home due to their fear.
While they are still fearful of new experiences, they have allowed their foster to pick them up and cuddle them, showing that they are sweet and gentle. These girls just need some time, patience, and love to bloom into the wonderful companions they are meant to be.
They are both spayed and up to date on vaccines.
The adoption fee for both Kiromi and Tauri is $200. If you're interested in giving these shy sisters a safe and quiet home, please fill out the adoption form below:

More about this rescue

Baladi & Sled Dog Rescue of Ontario is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, providing veterinary care, and finding loving homes for dogs from the dog sledding industry. We also extend our reach locally by rescuing stray dogs and cats from Indigenous communities that we partner with.

Our rescue began saving street dogs and cats, AKA Baladis, in Egypt. Since the important on animals ban implemented in 2022, we are no longer allowed to bring animals into Canada from Egypt. Our efforts, however, expand globally, as we continue to help support the placement of Baladi's in Egyptian shelters.
