My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tawny!

Whether it’s being picked up for a hug or laying on your lap, chest or side, Tawny is a deeply affectionate guy who loves to spend long stints snuggling up to you. Tawny loves to tell you about his day and then have you scoop him up for more cuddles and affection.

Tawnys ideal match would most likely be a household with lots of time available to shower him with affection and cuddles, and with other pets that he can spend time playing with and burning off his excess energy.

Tawny is an FIP Survivor. He received 84 days of antiviral injections and passed an additional 84 day observation period. FIP is a mutation of feline coronavirus that can happen in some cats who have lower immune systems or who have a genetic predisposition. There is no continued care required after treatment. Most cats have been exposed to feline coronavirus and only a small percentage will experience a mutation. You can read more about FIP here: https://www.sockfip.org
