Meet Cheese, the Great Pyrenees mix with a story as unique as she is—she was left at the shelter after hours during the holiday with nothing but some cheese to keep her company (seriously, who does that?). Born around June 2023, there’s a bit of mystery to her past but her present is full of sweetness. She’s a total cuddle bug who adores hugs, face massages, kisses, and ear scratches—basically, if you have hands, she wants to be loved on! Cheese is the queen of quirk, with a goofy little hop when she runs that’s sure to make you laugh every time. Her favorite hobby? De-stuffing stuffed animals with the precision of a professional toy surgeon. Cheese is a quick learner, but let’s just say she’s also a bit of an opportunist—if something’s within reach, she might just give it a taste test! While car rides aren’t her favorite (yet), she’s making progress and is always up for an adventure, especially if it involves being outside. She absolutely loves the outdoors, happily soaking up all the fresh air and fun she can find. This sweet girl gets along fabulously with the other dogs in her foster home. She loves to join in the rough-and-tumble sessions, though she’s more of a gentle participant, letting her foster dog sister lead the charge. She’s not totally sold on her crate just yet, but she’s learning to make peace with it like the good sport she is. This girl has zero food aggression and even lets her foster sister polish off any leftovers from her bowl. Cheese is the sweetest, happiest girl who has yet to meet a stranger—she loves everyone she meets and would love to meet you next!
