My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐩💞RIZZO💞🐩

Check out Miss Rizzo - named after my favorite pink lady, full of sass and spunk! 💅🏼

Rizzo, formerly known as “Redbox”, was a stray found at a Redbox vestibule in Mexico MO. The Good Samaritan that found her took her home and allowed her to be a “stray” at her home where she would be fed and cared for.

Rizz was timid at first, only coming out when she made sure the coast was clear. Unless it was dogs - she LOVES dogs! (so weird, right?!) She is taking longer to warm up to my cats, but my guess is that she didn’t have a great experience with other cats on the streets when she had to fight for resources like food.

But she’s coming around! ↩️

Rizzo is so sweet. She just wants love and attention, but on your terms! She is affectionate and loves to make biscuits for you, but will also just hang out in the same room without being needy!

Rizz is great with kiddos and dogs, while maintaining a distance from other cats for now. She is fully litter box trained, spayed, and caught up on vaccinations!

We estimate Rizzo to be between 1-2 years old, which means there’s plenty of life for you to share with her! Did you notice her really cool colors? Though she’s a tabby, she has hints of orange through out her coat, almost reflective in the light!

If you or someone you know is looking for a calm and gentle house kitty to be a companion, Rizzo is your girl!
