My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Uncle Matt can't see you but he sure wants someone to see him! This sweet, blind, guy deserves to finally have a wonderful home to spend his golden years! He is very calm and quiet and he does take a little bit to feel at home, but he becomes very affectionate and playful and he really does bond with his people. He's such a sweet boy, and VERY potty trained!
Due to him being blind, he takes a little bit to comfortable in his surroundings. Once he figures out his surroundings he likes to explore, curl up with his person, and just chill around everyone! To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.

Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.

More about this rescue

Long Way Home was created to provide the last stop for animals displaced from their homes, deemed "unadoptable" by other rescues, or that need a level of care their previous owners or other shelters are unable or unwilling to provide.
