This pint-sized charmer is Tiny Tim! Tim is a spunky, playful little fella with lots of love to give. He is friendly, outgoing and enjoys meeting new people. He loves playtime and toys, then he's ready to snuggle in when he's tired. Did we mention that he LOVES toys? Any kind of toys! Expect your house to be decorated with toys. Tim is learning all about the joys of going for a walk and enjoys being out and about. He loves other dogs, especially if they want to play! We think he would be ok with kids who are old enough to respect his small stature. He's sturdy for his size. Nobody told him how small he is! Some lucky family is going to get a fun little buddy. Could it be you?

Tim is 90% house trained. Because he was only recently neutered, he still lifts his leg in the house a little bit. This behavior will diminish with time as the hormones that drive him to do it fade away. He wears a belly band with no issues in the meabtime. We expect that behavior to resolve in the next few weeks. He enjoys going for a walk so he can leave his mark all over the neighborhood, so he's less inclined to do it at home. He is crate trained and he keeps his crate dry. He sleeps quietly in his crate during the night. Mostly Muttz PA Kennel License #10872

Submit Application

You can find our application at www.mostlymuttz.org.

2.
Home Check

All persons living in the household are required to be present.

3.
Approve Application

You will receive an approval email from our organization within several days of having your home visit completed.

4.
Meet the Pet

You will be able to adopt at this meeting if it is a match.

5.
Pay Fee

Adoption fees vary based on dog. We accept cash, PayPal or Venmo. The contract will also be signed at this time.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

The Initial review of your application will occur within 72 hours.

Please contact your vet authorizing them to release information to us.
Also, let your references know we’ll be calling.

Once your references have been contacted, someone will contact you to schedule a home visit.
After your home visit you will receive an email informing you of your approval.

Schedule a meet/adoption. You will be able to finalize your adoption of the dog at this meeting.

Please read your contract thoroughly before the meeting.

You will be required to send an update at 2 weeks, 6 months, and annually. The email addresses for those updates will be at the bottom of the contract.

If it has been determined that training is a requirement for the dog you’re adopting this will be noted on the contract. You will be required to submit verification of training completion.

Payment by cash is due at the time of adoption. If you choose to use PayPal, payment should be made prior to the meeting/adoption. You will need to forward the electronic email you receive from PayPal, to mostlymuttz@gmail.com to confirm your payment before the meeting/adoption.

Adoption Fees:

Altered puppies (8 weeks - 1 year old): $525

Unaltered puppies (8 weeks - 1 year old): $450 (A $100 sterilization deposit is required in addition to fee. This is refunded upon verification of altering.)

Adults (1yo-7yo): $375

Seniors (7+ years old): $250

Adult dogs who have been with us for over 6 months: $188

At Mostly Muttz Rescue, we often choose to save dogs suffering from curable illnesses within the shelter system rather than rescuing dogs that will be easy to place.
