My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sunny: The Most Gentle Boy Looking for His Forever Home 🛋️

Sunny is the gentlest, sweetest, most loyal dog you could ever hope to meet, and he’s ready to find his forever family! 💕

Sunny and his two brothers came to us as tiny puppies with their mom from the saddest high-kill shelter in Barstow. We rescued them just in time, and they thrived in foster care with their mom until they were weaned. Sadly, because they aren’t bulldogs, finding homes for them was challenging. Two of the brothers were adopted by their foster but tragically returned to us after their they passed away.

✨About Sonny:
• Age: Turned 1 year old on January 1st
• Size: About 50-55 pounds, taller but lanky- DNA test pending
• Temperament: Super friendly, sweet, and loyal
• Training: Crate trained, potty trained
• Good With: Dogs of all sizes, cats, and every person he meets
• Best Fit: While he may not be ideal for homes with very young/small kids due to his size and enthusiasm, he would thrive in most environments!

Sunny is a fantastic all-around dog who’s just waiting for the right family to give him the love and attention he deserves.

Additional adoption info

Once you see the pup of your dreams you fill out an adoption application:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeXPNq9voBZT2E0wYyxf240a7qdVNNoTfdL1dIAx-UpcoLy5A/viewform

Once approved, we will reach out to you to set up an "interview" but really more of a chat. If after our chat we agree to try a meet we schedule a meet and greet at your home. If the meet goes well the one week trial begins.

If after the week trial all parties agree to proceed with adoption, final adoption application is signed, adoption fee is paid and the pups medical records and microchip are transferred.

Even if after the official trial the adoption is not a great fit for any reason we will always accept dogs back under our rescue.
