Meet Sugar Cookie!  

Sugar Cookie is a sweet and gentle pup ready to find her forever home! She is crate trained (loves her crate, its her safe space), and is both dog- and cat-friendly. She rides calmly in the car, takes treats gently, and isn’t a big barker—just the occasional woof at someone near the house. Sugar is on the shy side, learning to trust humans. Once you gain her trust, she is super affectionate. 

She’s still learning to walk on a leash, as it seems new to her, and she would benefit from a home with a yard where she can explore and build confidence. Bath time is a little scary for her, but she’s always cooperative. With patience and love, Sugar Cookie will blossom into the perfect companion!

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
