Meet Josie! This sweet 4-year-old girl weighs about 46 pounds and is ready to find her forever home. Josie may seem a little timid at first, but once she feels safe, her playful and affectionate personality shines.
She quickly loosens up in the yard, happily soliciting attention and affection from her people. Josie appears to be potty trained, as she does her business right away when outside. While she can be a bit nervous or shaky in new situations, Josie warms up with patience, treats, and kindness. She even approaches strangers for gentle pets and loves showing off her “sit” for snacks.
Josie is a little head-shy at first, but her trust grows quickly, and she adores all the treats and toys she’s given. Once comfortable, she’s playful and fun, though her play style can be a little awkward at times, adding to her charm.
She’s looking for a patient, understanding family who will give her the time and space she needs to blossom on her own terms. With love and care, Josie will be the most loyal and loving companion.
Are you the person Josie is waiting for? Come meet her and see how special she is!
