Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Bubba. Bubba joined the NorCal family when his owner could no longer take care of him.
Bubba is a 3.5 year old bundle of joy. This boy will greet you and want to give you kisses every time he sees you. Bubba loves to play with small balls and will carry one around quite often. Playing Chuck-It in a large back yard is one of his favorite things to do 2 or 3 times a day. He enjoys walking and would make an excellent hiking or agility buddy. Bubba is leash trained and with consistent expectations, he is learning to walk without pulling. He is the perfect gentleman in the house as he is completely housetrained. Bubba adapts quickly to a new routine and is responding well to basic commands. Off is a big one that he is learning as he loves to jump on people to say hi. Bubba will sleep at night in a crate or would be happy to sleep on your bed. He loves to cuddle on the sofa for short periods of time and in between play times. Bubba gets along with the resident cavalier. He loves to chase the cats and the birds that visit "his" backyard. So cats in his home are most likely a no. Bubba rides well in the car.
It does not appear that Bubba has had a lot of experience in the outside world. A parked UPS truck and a parked motorcycle got lots of barks. The good news is he is a fast learner and with guidance he is understanding that these things are normal. Bubba can be a bit mouthy when playing as he is still on the young side. He also loves to "steal" things off of tables and off of floors. He will let you take things out of his mouth easily and is responding to verbal corrections.
If you are looking for an active dog that loves to play fetch, explore a backyard and take long walks, this boy is a dream! It's important to emphasis how much exercise Bubba needs and his level of energy. :-)
Bubba has been fully vetted and has a clean bill of health, other than the usual cocker ear infections.
