Beau is an happy little guy, he loves everyone he meets, especially kids. He loves going for rides and walks well on a leash. When at home he likes to cuddle and play with his fosters and their dogs and kids. He rarely barks at anything, he investigates first. Beau is food motivated so he hears a treat container and you have his undivided attention. He’s a small boy, with a beautifully marked coat and an expressive curly, long haired tail. Oh, Beau doesn’t mind naps! He’s the best nap buddy if you want an afternoon cat nap or an hour or two of shut eye. You can see his feelings in his beautiful little eyes. Beau will want to be included in as much as possible.

We require potential adopters to fill out an Adoption Application.When that is approved we can arrange for the prospective adopter to meet the dog they are interested in. We do require an adoption contract to be signed at time of adoption. We have a virtual home-check process (don't forget to submit photos of the exterior of your home!) Adoption fees range depending on the age of the dog. We do have dogs located at qualified fosters throughout the state and also out of state.

Since all rescue dogs live in foster homes, there is no single facility to meet pups.

You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog after you have an approved app on file. Apps can be filled out at ewenityfarm.org

More about this rescue

We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.

It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
