With a personality as warm as her snuggles, Rhonda will flop right over and curl up against you, seeking attention and affection at every turn. Her devotion is unmatched, and she’s happiest when surrounded by people. But don’t let her cuddly exterior fool you—Rhonda has a playful side, too! She loves to involve her people in games, ensuring that everyone is part of the fun. Whether she's snuggled up on your lap or bouncing around with joy, Rhonda’s love for people shines through in everything she does.

If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

At Paws Crossed, we believe that our mission is best fulfilled through rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, advocacy, collaboration and education.

Paws Crossed is a private organization which relies solely on donations, grants and fundraising events for our income; we do not receive any Federal, State or Local assistance.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
