Cherry Pie`s Compatibility: Dogs - Meet & Greet Cats - Unknown Kids - Cherry Pie prefers a mature crowd, so a home without kiddos would be wonderful for her!
Meet Cherry Pie, a sweet and resilient girl who’s ready for a fresh start. At 8 years old and 83 lbs, she’s a big love bug with a calm, laid-back personality. Cherry Pie’s journey hasn’t been easy—she was found tied to a post at Cumberland Park, left alone and unsure of what was next. It’s heartbreaking to think of how she must have felt, but thankfully, the police department brought her to us, giving her a chance at a brighter future.
Despite everything she’s been through, Cherry Pie has shown nothing but love and trust. She’s had cherry eye surgery and is feeling much better, but more than that, she’s showing her true nature—a calm, laid-back companion who’s just waiting for a family to call her own. Cherry Pie deserves a life where she’ll never be left alone or abandoned again.
Cherry Pie is looking for an adult-only home, where she can relax, feel safe, and enjoy the love she so deeply deserves. She’s a sweet, chill girl who’ll be happiest curled up by your side or taking a quiet stroll. If you’re ready to give Cherry Pie the life she’s always deserved, come meet her today. She’s waiting for someone to fill her days with love, and she promises to do the same in return.

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.
This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
