My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Blaze – Your Handsome, Loyal Companion!

Hey there, I’m Blaze! I’m a dashing fellow on the lookout for a forever home where love and patience abound. While I can be a bit cautious when meeting new people, especially those I don’t know well, I’ve learned that good things come to those who take their time. Once I’ve had a chance to sniff you out and feel at ease, I’ll be more than ready to soak up all the love and attention you have to give!

Right now, I seem to gravitate toward women, so ladies, you might just have an edge in earning my trust.

When it comes to affection, I’m not shy about asking for it! If I spot you giving pets to one of my doggie pals, don’t be surprised if I walk right up and politely insist on some snuggles for myself. After all, I think I deserve my fair share of the love!

Lately, I’ve been doing much better with my meals, finishing both feedings like a champ. I also have a soft spot for stuffed toys—not to play with, but to keep me company. There’s just something about having them in my pen that makes me feel cozy and safe.

If you can be patient and give me the time I need to adjust, I promise to reward you with unwavering loyalty and endless affection. Could you be the one to give me the loving home I’ve been dreaming of?

For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you.

I hope to meet you soon!

Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
