Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I am a very sweet and shy boy who is learning how wonderful life is as an inside cat. I earned my name from the gas station where I would go to get food every day. I haven't always had good luck with people and usually keep my space but the nice worker would feed me- and food is my MOST FAVORITE thing.
Now, I love watching birds and squirrels out the window, and I am learning to appreciate new things like cuddling, toys, and chin scratches. I am coming out of my shell more each day and love chatting with my foster mom. I also LOVE other animals and miss being around them during my ringworm treatment. Before we found out I had ringworm, I would watch the other cats to learn about being an inside and using a litter box. Now I am a pro! I would love a home with another cat to play with and help me build confidence but it isn't a deal breaker. My foster home also has a large dog and I am not bothered by it. Also, I have have been around older kids for short periods but I mostly hid from the noise.
If you are looking for a handsome hunk of love, I could be the perfect addition to your family!
From the vet team: Hello! I'm pending some medical care but still available for adoption. I am undergoing ringworm treatment and need a neuter surgery once medically cleared. Please be aware that ringworm is zoonotic, though generally a minor health concern. The treatment for ringworm involves oral and/or topical medication depending on the doctor's specific recommendations, and involves appointments approximately every 2 weeks. I will be adopted with a disclaimer included in my contract so my adoption can take place (and I can get settled in my new home!) while The Bond Between still manages the financial responsibility of my ringworm treatment (until resolution) and mandatory neuter surgery. This care covered by The Bond Between in the contract is required to take place at The Bond Between Vet Center in Minnetonka. Any other medical care needed outside of the treatment and surgery covered by the disclaimer in my contract would be the responsibility of my new family.

The Bond Between's goal is to not keep any animals at our rescue office. The majority of our animals are living in foster homes until they are adopted. Occasionally, animals are living in our rescue office that are in need of a foster home.
If you would like to meet an animal at our office who needs a foster, please reach out to inofficeanimals@thebondbetween.org and fill out our foster interest form at https://www.thebondbetween.org/foster

More about this rescue
The Bond Between is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on the bond between humans and animals. We were founded in 2009 as Secondhand Hounds. Since then, we have rescued over 29,000 dogs and cats with the help of thousands of fosters, volunteers, and supporters in our community. Our organization has grown from a rescue to a first-in-its-class animal wellbeing organization... now The Bond Between! We continue to provide safe shelter, proper veterinary care, and daily necessities for animals while working hard to help them build a bond with humans. We also focus on supporting the bonds that already exist between people and pets with our pet food shelf, respite foster care program, and focus on social services.
We wake up every morning saying YES to connecting people and animals, caring for them, and helping them fill each other’s hearts.
You can help support us today by donating, fostering, volunteering, or sharing The Bond Between.
