My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The newest cutie in town is our boy Bear!

This sweetie is a cat you have to meet to see how wonderful he truly is, I mean how can you resist those big cheeks?

Bear is a new arrival to FVHA from Waushara County Animal Shelter, he was a staff and volunteer favorite at WCAS and has become a favorite here as well.

Bear was diagnosed with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and that has not dampened his spirits, except that he has not found a forever home yet. FIV does compromise a cats immune system, making them more vulnerable to other infections, and is only spread between cats. Due to this we are looking for a home for a Bear as an only cat, or a home with other FIV+ cats.

Currently in a foster home but Bear is available for anyone that would like to meet him! Please contact us to schedule when to meet Bear!

If you are interested in Bear or want to meet him please contact our adoption counselors at (920) 733-1717 ext. 100 or through email (adopt@foxvalleypets.org).
