Meet Heidi, the gentle and sweet pup who’s ready to find her forever home! Heidi is good with other dogs and has a dainty, gentle playstyle that makes her a great companion for dogs of all sizes. She’s also treat-motivated, which means she’ll be a quick learner once she feels comfortable and trusts her new family. Heidi is a little on the shy side and can be nervous or timid in new situations, but with patience and a calm environment, she’ll slowly open up and show you just how loving and loyal she can be. She may need a bit of time to adjust, but once she’s settled, Heidi will be your loving companion.

I am located at Companion Animal Alliance! CAA is open for adoptions Tuesday-Saturday from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. No appointments are necessary, please stop by to see me!

All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to go before adoptions are finalized.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
