My name is Nova!

Hi, I’m Nova! I’ve had a tough start in life, coming from a cruelty situation, but I’ve been saved, and now I’m ready to share all the love I have in my heart. I’m a sweet, gentle soul who just wants to be part of a family. I’m calm and trusting, and when I look up at you with my big, loving eyes, you’ll see just how much I appreciate the kindness and care I’m finally receiving.

Due to my rough start, I can get a little anxious when left alone, but with some extra support I have learned that being alone is okay! Anyone interested in me should be open to giving me a little time to settle in and go slowly with changes and after that I will learn quickly our routine!

I’m not only sweet, but I’m also so cute—especially when I curl up into the silliest sleeping positions that will make you laugh. I love cuddling on the couch, whether it’s with my humans or my dog friends. I’ve been living with two foster siblings, but I can be dog selective. So ask an adoption counselor about slow introductions if you already have a furry friend at home!

I’m great with kids, too! I’ve met little ones under 10, and I adore them. My heart is full of love, and I’m gentle and patient with everyone I meet. I’m fully potty trained, walk nicely on a leash, and am a pretty well-behaved pup overall. While I’m not a fan of being crated, I’m perfectly content napping on the couch, gazing out the window while you’re away, and waiting for you to come home.

What I’m really looking for is a family who will love me as much as I will love them. If you’re looking for a calm, loyal companion to cuddle with, share quiet moments, and spend your days with, I’d be the perfect fit.
