Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Joey (aka Jo Jo, aka Goofnut, aka No More Kisses) is a 12-month-old Lab mix with a personality as big as her puppy-dog eyes. She’s crate-trained and working on housebreaking—though she insists it’s the rain's fault because obviously, she’s so sweet she’ll melt if she steps outside. (Her words, not ours!)
Joey is an adventurer at heart. She loves playing with other dogs, running like she’s auditioning for the Olympics, and hiking as though she's plotting her next National Geographic feature. Car rides? She’s still learning to love those, but bribes in the form of snacks help a lot. Most importantly, Joey adores every person she meets—she’s making up for lost time because her past didn’t give her the love she deserves.
Joey is available through a foster-to-adopt program because she’s heartworm positive. Here’s how it works:
You’ll be vetted as a foster with our rescue group.
Joey will live with you as a cherished family member.
Her heartworm treatment (provided by Advantage Vet) is covered by the rescue.
When her treatment is done, you’ll finalize her adoption by signing a contract and paying her adoption fee.
Joey’s ready to fill your life with laughter, love, and plenty of "oops, did I do that?" moments. If you’re ready for a new hiking buddy, couch cuddler, and all-around goofball, apply to foster-to-adopt Joey today.
