My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mannie, a lovable & handsome dog who LOVES being with his favorite human(s). Mannie is a fun & playful boy who’s around 2 years old & 55 lbs. He’s a medium energy dog who enjoys a good romp in the yard followed by a snuggle on the couch. Mannie gets along beautifully with his foster sister: he loves giving her kisses, playing with her & doing zoomies. He would LOVE a fun buddy (male or female) that enjoys playing!

Mannie is both potty trained & kennel trained. He even sits calmly by the door when he is being leashed up for a walk. He also takes treats very gently. And, Mannie loves to chase a ball! He may not always bring it back…but he enjoys chasing it! Mannie is a good traveler: he is quiet & calm on road trips. Also, Mannie is very obedient & immediately reacts when he is corrected. He also enjoys helping his humans do things like make dinner, workout & watch movies on the couch.

Being away from his humans does make Mannie feel stressed. Since he’s kennel trained, Mannie will go happily into his kennel when his Mom/Dad need to be away from the home for a while. He’s also happy to sleep in his kennel at night OR next to his humans.

Do you want an adorable snuggle buddy, a personal trainer or a sous chef in the kitchen? Mannie is YOUR dog!!

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter.
