Peanut is a very sweet girl that is ready to find her new family that'll give her a calm home to be herself in. She gets along with the other cats in her room and enjoys laying in her cat cube while getting her beauty sleep. She is spayed, vaccinated and litter trained. If you want a cat that'll melt in your arms and purr while you both cuddle, then Peanut is your girl.
The shelter can be reached at 937-498-7201 to schedule a time to meet. Or please feel free to come in during business hours. The shelter is open Monday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-12. The Shelby County Animal Shelter is a County office designed to serve the residents of Shelby County. They answer calls for stray dogs, complaints of dogs running at large, animal kills by dogs and coyotes, pick up stray dogs, answer humane complaints and reports of loose dogs.

The SCAS is open to people looking for a pet, looking for a missing pet, and those who just want to look at the animals. They accept dogs and cats from owners as well as strays, however a fee may be involved. They offer dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption.
