My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Rat…. Yes, like my sworn enemy. I was surrendered to the shelter after my human passed away... I am 10 years old. The shelter ladies don’t have much history on me because the previous owner has passed and next of Kin didn’t know anything about me.

The shelter ladies DO KNOW this about me, I am the absolute sweetest senior lady ever! They would love to see me go to a home with an older family who understands that I am old and won’t play a lot. I would like to have a family who will give me unconditional love and affection. I want a nice spot on your lap for all the scritches you can give me. I will come fixed, up to date on all my vaccines and microchipped. So, make an appointment to meet me!

More about this shelter

Our shelter was built in 2007 for the City of Hutchinson. Our goal is to help cut down on the pet-overpopulation of Reno County and to place animals in furever homes!
